Escape the city - Visit Toronto Islands!

Toronto Islands is the closest place to escape the city and get lost into the wilderness and nature. You definitely need a full day to explore this vast region.

The Toronto Islands are located just offshore from the city's downtown and has three main destinations - Center Island, Hanlan's Point and Wards Island.

Ferries take you to the centre island every half an hour for most of the day and this is the most popular destination of the Toronto Islands. It has a cute amusement park called Centreville and the view of the skyline is spectacular to say the least.

There is a beach just minutes away from the dock.

Just a few minutes' walk from the Centre Island pier is the William Meany Maze and it's such a fun to do activity for kids as well adults!

Also some amazing patios are here with drool worthy food.

Ward's Island - This is a residential area of the Toronto Islands, so please be mindful and respect people's privacy while exploring the region. They have the cutest houses and many non traditional office spaces. Who wouldn't want to work here?

Hanlan's Point - Another destination which has many attractions such as Gibraltar lighthouse, Billy Bishop Airport and the only clothing optional beach in Toronto!

Ciao for now! See you some place else next time!! ;)
