Get transported to Paris from Toronto in less than half an hour drive!
I am talking about Guildwood Park and Gardens in Scarborough! You have to check out this place to believe me. It is so stunning with greenery, architecture and endless water views. The park was once the site of an artist colony and is notable for its collection of relics saved from the demolition of buildings primarily in downtown Toronto arranged akin to ancient ruins. It is located on the Scarborough Bluffs, which is a great way to end your day out at the beach after hiking at the park.
The Greek Theatre is an open-air theatre, built from the remnants of a Bank of Toronto.
A lot of people get married here! How Parisian is this?
The park has amazing greenery and perfectly maintained. It's a great place for a picnic in summer!
I could not believe I could find such beautiful architecture just minutes away from downtown Toronto!
The Guild Inn and estate mansion is such a beautiful building at the entrance of the park.
Another beautiful ancient ruin at the park.
This aesthetic door leads to a beautiful hiking trail and you can enjoy scenic views of water from here! Just take a look at the next picture.
Endless views of water along the hiking trail! This will make your Sunday perfect folks!
Relics at the park are arranged in different patterns, such as these relics from the Old Toronto Star Building.
There is definitely no shortage of photo ops in this marvellous park. These lamp posts are everything.
